By 5pm, over 1,000 people were seen attending the "Return Our CPF" protest held at Hong Lim Park on Saturday.
The event, which aims to gather support for a more "transparent" and "accountable" Central Provident Fund (CPF) system, kicked off with first speaker activist and blogger Han Hui Hui, who is also the sole organiser of the event.
The protest saw other speakers taking the stage, such as former presidential candidate Tan Kin Lian and ex-Singapore Democratic Party member Vincent Wijeysingha.
Blogger Roy Ngerng, who was recently sued by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong over an allegedly defamatory post, was also seen at the event.
