Fire broke out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at a construction site near shopping mall Junction 10, formerly known as Ten Mile Junction, in Bukit Panjang.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident at 2:58am and subsequently deployed three fire engines, a red rhino, an ambulance and five support vehicles.
Nobody was injured from the fire, which was extinguished in 30 minutes using three water jets, according to SCDF, adding that the cause of fire is under investigation.
Yahoo Singapore understands that the area affected was part of the construction site for Downtown Line. The Land Transport Authority has been contacted to confirm this.
