Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices saw both spikes and tumbles across categories after the latest tender closed on Wednesday.
COE prices for bigger cars generally dipped, as the category for cars above 1,600 cc fell to $64,899 from $65,700 in the previous exercise three weeks ago. The open COE category, which can be used for any vehicle, dropped to $63,001 from the previous figure of $65,301.

Yesterday, the Singapore government decided to take a crack at it themselves, passing new amendments to its Copyright Act. The Bill allows owners of copyrighted material to get local Internet service providers (ISPs), such as SingTel or StarHub, to block "flagrantly infringing sites". Copyright holders now have the right to be heard during a blocking order application, while the receiving party will also have the right to appeal.
