Malaysia's levy on foreign-registered vehicles not likely to be less than $19.50: reports

The Vehicle Entry Permit fee to be imposed on foreign-registered vehicles entering Johor Bahru will not likely be less than S$19.50 (RM50), according to Malaysia's Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprani, local media reports said.
Malaysia's transport minister will implement it by end of the year and added that it was a "reasonable" amount for Singaporeans, given the country's favourable exchange rate.

However, in recent months, counterfeit loom kits from China have been appearing on local shelves, often sold at half of the original's $29.90 recommended retail price. These fake and untested Rainbow Loom bands have also caused rashes among children.

Red alert, red alert: Company fraud on the rise in Singapore
In Singapore, 29 per cent of employees have admitted to having experienced fraud within their companies over the past two years.
According to KPMG-SMU Singapore Fraud Survey 2014 report, corporate fraud in Singapore is on the rise. The report suggests that 29 per cent of the survey respondents experienced fraud incident within their organisation over the past two years, up from 22 per cent in the 2011 survey.
